- cladding must be removed in order to replace jointers. Repair options without removing cladding include:
- remove the outer part of damaged jointer; use an exterior grade construction adhesive to cover the joint with a similar strip material or use a jointer that has had the back section removed
- remove the outer part of damaged jointer; cover the joint with H3.2-treated timber battens
