Glass balustrade – cracked

- replace the balustrade. Installation of a new balustrade where it is possible to fall 1.0 metre or more, must be in accordance with the requirements of the New Zealand Building Code Section F4 Safety from falling available for free download. The rules around glass barriers changed on 1 June 2016. New structural glass barriers complying with B1/AS1 will need to have an interlinking rail, unless the barrier is laminated safety glass and has features to retain panes of glass or prevent collapse if the glass breaks.
