Profiled metal roofing – lead-head nails damaged or missing

Cause
The lead heads were damaged during roofing installation
Repair

it is important to make repairs because holes in the roof at fixing points may result in leaks

replace damaged or missing nails with roofing screws with low-carbon neoprene sealing washers. Nails are not recommended – they have a higher risk of coming out and a poorer seal under the head

screw fasteners should go through sheet crests (the high part of the profile) and at least 30 mm into timber purlins
