Repair

  • copper roof panels are commonly installed with standing seams. Engage a roofing company experienced in working with copper to advise and to repair the panels if necessary. With these roofs, the installation techniques and fixings used are different to the more common corrugated steel roofs and are best left to people with experience and the appropriate tools
  • try to avoid foot traffic on the roof in future. Work out why there has been foot traffic in the past. If people have walked on the roof to trim trees, for example, the tree branches could be cut back so roof access is no longer required
