Loss of bond between the plaster coats

Repair

  • remove damaged stucco; replaster with cement plaster to match existing texture; repaint
  • reclad if damage is significant using a different cladding material.  A building consent will be required before re-cladding can be carried out
  • where it is suspected that the building may be leaking and there is a risk of damage behind the cladding engage an experienced building surveyor to report on the building
