Cause

Heat trapped by the roofing causing the purlins to which sheets are fixed to overheat and damage the sheets

Repair

  • if sheets are not badly marked, remove the sheets; paint the upper surface of purlins with white paint to prevent heat buildup; replace the sheets
  • replace damaged sheets as required
