Repair

  • replacement/repair of roofing membranes should be carried out by specialists – this is typically a requirement of the membrane manufacturer. This is not DIY work. Work on roofs is restricted building work under the Building Act and anyone engaged to carry out this work must be a licensed building practitioner or be supervised by an LBP

  • after repair or replacement, check over the roof once a year to ensure it is in sound condition
